Our showroom closed on 7/06, we expect to re-open in early 2007. The showroom no longer exists, we will not be able to allow customers to enter our lobby area any longer. We appreciate the continued patronage of all of our South Florida customers as well as Florida customers who pick up their orders at our warehouse. Due to our continually increasing order volume we have made revisions to our local orders policy as follows:
We must ask that you please allow a minimum of 2 business days for us to process orders to be picked up at our warehouse; during the last 3 months of the year this turnaround time will increase since that's our busiest time of the year. Orders are logged in the next business day after they're placed. Our current turnaround time is always posted on the front page of our website. We email customers with a pickup day and time, please do not show up to pick up your order if you have not been notified. Local orders will never be prepared from one day to the next.
Pickup days/hours: Tuesday and Thursday 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. for order pick up only. We cannot accept additions to orders which are ready for pick up as doing so will greatly disrupt our order processing routine. The last time for pickups is 1 p.m.. If you cannot be here before 1 p.m., please return on the next pick up day.
We reserve the right to announce on the website or in our voice mail message or via a notice posted on our doors that on any given day of the year we may be closed for any reason. We're sorry if any of our local customers are ever inconvenienced by an unexpected closure. We're not a retail operation. We're an Internet-based supplier, the bulk of our orders ship throughout the U.S. and internationally. We open our showroom on certain days for the benefit of local customers and of customers who wish to save on shipping costs.
In early 2007 our showroom will be open to customers who wish to look at, touch and smell products and will be open for this purpose only on Thursdays from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.. On Thursdays we may be able to fill a very small order if our order volume allows us to do so for a minimum wait time of 20 minutes. If we can't, you'll be informed and we'll provide you with a pick up date and time. Please place another order and wait to be notified of a pick up date and time for the new order. All orders must be placed on your computer or on the computer provided in our showroom. All showroom orders must meet a $25 minimum order requirement (excluding sales tax and handling charges) and must pay sales tax of 7% unless we're provided with a copy of a current Fla. sales tax certificate. All orders which we must manually enter for the customer will incur a $10 manual entry fee. As of 6/7/06 there's no minimum order requirement for orders placed by the customer on directly on our site.
Restroom, Children, Food, etc.: We do not offer restroom facilities for customers, there are numerous fast food places along NW 36 St. with public restrooms. Please keep your children under control at all times and keep them from touching our products and displays. Food and drinks are not allowed inside the showroom. If you make the decision to leave a child or pet in the car while you dash in to pick up the order, please open your windows and turn off your vehicle's motor since not doing so could end up in a tragedy. If you leave a child or pet in your car after you've opened all your windows, please make sure that you're inside our premises for no longer than 5 minutes since it could be very hot outside. We do not recommend that any child or pet be left alone inside a vehicle, it's the driver's responsibility to make the appropriate decision. We're making this statement because parents have left unattended children and pets inside a vehicle with the motor running in the past and this is quite dangerous should the child or pet put the vehicle in Drive or Reverse.
Returns, Allergic Reactions, etc.: All sales are final, no exceptions. All orders picked up at our warehouse must be checked by the customer. We will not accept reports of errors, damages or shortages once the order is taken from our premises. We will not accept returns because a customer experienced an allergic reaction to a product or because a certain product did not work out for a customer.
Cautions: Do not leave any fragrance or essential oil in the sun or heat, the bottles may explode. Do not leave containers of lye unattended inside a vehicle, most of all if you have children or pets in the vehicle.
Handling/packing charges for all orders picked up at our warehouse:
Orders with a total value under $75.00: $2.50
Orders with a total value between $75.01 to $150.00: $5.00
Orders with a total value of $150.01+: $10 for each $300.00 worth of products.
Above handling/packing charges do not apply to pails involved in the order. Charges for pails are as follows:
1 or 2 gallon pail: $2 per pail
5 gallon pail: $3 per pail
Handling charges will be charged online at time of order placement. If you’re not charged a handling charge at time of order placement for the 1-2 gal. and 5 gal. pails, we will charge for these manually once the order is finalized.
Pick-up vs. Shipping: We're sure your time is very valuable to you. Considering South Florida's heavy traffic, it may be better for you to receive your order via UPS Ground since this service is very inexpensive within Florida. If an order is not picked up within 2 weeks of the date of the order, we will dismantle the order, place all items back into stock, and apply a cancellation and a restocking fee as outlined in our Terms & Conditions section. We cannot accept additions to orders which are ready to be picked up. Please place another order and wait to be notified of a pick up date and time for the new order.
Parking while our showroom is not open to the public: Please park directly in front of either #3575 or #3579 at the rear of our building. Please look for the blue ramp which is near #3579, please ring the doorbell and someone will open. Do not park in other tenants' spaces, they will promptly have your car towed away.
Directions to our warehouse: Our local phone number is 305-500-9630, but since we're always busy in the warehouse area you will be answered by our voice mail. We're located at 3579 NW 82 Ave., Miami. The Palmetto Expressway is about 8 blocks away. If you take the Palmetto (826), get off at NW 36 St., head West, make a left at NW 82 Ave. (there's a Regions Bank at the corner), go a couple of blocks past the Amerisuites Hotel, and we're on your left. Ours is a mustard yellow/light yellow warehouse and we're towards the middle of the building. The first business you will see in our complex is called Premier Flowers and you may also see a leasing sign for Flightways. Miami Beach or Key Biscayne Residents: Take I-95 North or South depending on which area you're coming from, look for 112 West which should also say "Airport". Exit on NW 36 St. (do not head south to the Airport), stay on NW 36 St. until you see NW 82 Ave., make a left at the light and follow the rest of the instructions above. Broward Residents: Take I-95 South to where it branches off into 826 West. That expressway becomes the Palmetto Expressway. Stay on the Palmetto/826 South until you get to NW 36 St., exit there, go West and follow the same instructions as for local residents. Turnpike users: Exit at NW 41 St., stay on that street until you get to NW 82 Ave. (Regions bank on the corner), make a right, and follow the instructions above. NW 41 St. converts into NW 36 St., don't be confused.
