I normally buy Bulgarian Lavender but purchased a bottle of Fine French Lavender during a promotion. The Fine French Lavender has been excellent this year. It is slightly stronger than in the past but still a has light, soft, wonderful lavender scent. More of my male customers are liking this lavender.
for the price you cant beat it!

I bought 40/42 lavender in the past and it was nice almost like this one but a bit more bite to it, this is more floral and more like the lavender i know and love. 40/42 lavender is about the same price as this one at another soap supply place i order from so i am going to stick to this french lavender from now on!
    Finally ! - whole-house diffuser lavender

I tried all the lavenders in my Aura Cacia Essential Oil Diffuser (organic, Bulgaria, mailette, Spain) - all too earthy/mossy.... "fine french/popular" is lightly floral and the only scent my husband does not criticize

I've tried several EO companies, most of which are several times more expensive that Camden Grey (you know, the ones with member programs--wink wink). Yes, their oil properties are pure and smell incredible, but I've found Camden Grey's "French Lavender" to match all top shelf competitors. This version of lavender EO is the most comparable to taking a whiff of the plant itself. This is my favorite lavender oil on this green earth and I use it in everything, from lotions, soaps, bath salts and blends. It is a must have, in any EO arsenal!

I have tried countless lavender oils from various sources, and it seems that different people favor different types of lavender. This one is for me, hands down, the preferred lavender for therapeutic value as well as a pleasing, non-camphorous scent. I would choose this over any other lavender for therapeutic oil blends as well as diffusing if you are intending to bring a soothing atmosphere to any room.
    Wonderful aroma!

I've tried a few differerent lavenders for my soaps and salts and so far I like this variety the best. It has a light, flowery essence and is not as camphorous as some of the other varieties. The lovely floral essence makes it through the cold process soap process beautifully. It blends well with everything and is never too dominant. I have used this oil in bath salts and they turned out heavenly. Also, I put a drop on a mosquito bite that was itching terribly and it stopped itching immediately and never came back! Excellent product!
    Great oil!

Lavender can be used for so many things. The quality of camden grey oils are great, so are the prices. I got this oil to use on my daughter after a surgery, it has amazing properties.

I'm very proud to have this lavender in my aromatherapy inventory. It's got an herbaceous, yet mellow tone and is perfect for blending with other essential oils for aromatherapy. It's definitely my "Swiss Army Knife" essential oil!

I absolutely love this oil and use it for so many things. It has a sweeter and stronger smell then the 40/42. I use a drop directly on the skin for perfume. Mix a few drops with aloe gel and use as a deodorant. Mix with some grape-seed oil and rub into my temples when I can't sleep. Add a few drops in grape-seed oil with a few drops of peppermint to make my migraines go away. And the scent never gets old. Since it's too precious to use in soap (I use the 40/42 in that), a 1/2 ounce bottle lasts me at least a year.
    Perfect for Balms

This is the perfect Lavender for a Boo Boo balm I make. I made some for a coworker who requested something else for his eczema. And because of him using this balm in his office, I’ve had multiple orders because folks love the smell coming out of his office. They’ve said it’s like a spa. Both men and women, adore this lavender. And now I’m out and need more. If you have someone who is looking for the real deal for therapeutic uses, look no further.

    HOW PRODUCTS ARE DISPENSED...

    BOTTLING/PACKAGING:

Essential oils: Are sold only in the quantities/net weights listed on our website. These oils are shipped to us by the distiller or manufacturer in industry-standard metal or plastic containers and that’s how we ship them to you.

Carrier oils and most other liquids are dispensed in individual HDPE plastic pails or containers with some type of handle, each container holds the purchased net weight of liquid.

Soft butters such as Horsetail and Almond are dispensed in plastic HDPE pails w/metal handles; those butters may remain inside the pails indefinitely when properly stored. Hard butters such as Cocoa are dispensed factory-wrapped in plastic and placed inside a box. Castile Gel is dispensed in a self-contained cubitainer with pouring spout.

NOTE: While the packaging methods mentioned above are generalized, we reserve the right to dispense and ship in any available container. If a customer at any time feels more comfortable transferring an essential or carrier oil to glass, this should be done.

Raw materials/ingredients are sold and dispensed by weight. Many customers ask how many ounces are in a pound, there are 16 ounces in one pound. These are not fluid ounces, they are ounces by weight.

HOW TO STORE: EOs, FOs and BUTTERS should be stored in tightly-sealed containers away from direct light and heat. Some EOs and FOs could be highly flammable, keep away from open flames and from varnished or wood surfaces. Keep all liquids and powders you purchase from Camden-Grey tightly capped and away from the reach of children, the elderly or infirm and pets. Refrigerating butters could adversely affect the consistency of a butter, please join our Forum if you need to learn how to handle, work with and store products.
