This is an exceptionally soft and luscious mango butter which melts readily. Please keep in mind that this natural softness may result in softer products with a lower melting point. If you have concerns, we suggest you first order a sample the next time you place a regular order.

Mango Butter is extracted from the fruit kernels of the Mango tree (Mangifera indica). The butter is carefully refined and deodorized to obtain a product which meets the stringent requirements for cosmetic applications.

Mango Butter contains a high content of C18:0 and C18:1 fatty acids. It is soft solid at room temperature, but melts on contact at skin temperature and disperses evenly. Mango Butter may be used for cutaneous dryness to assist in moisturization after exposure to sun and other harsh elements.

Suggested uses: Creams, lotions, balms. Use from 3% to 100% pure (as a butter-like balm). Store away from light and heat, tightly sealed. SAP value: 183-198. Suggested use levels: Lotions & Creams: 3-5%; Balms: 5-100%; Bar Soaps: 3-6%; Hair Conditioners: 2-5%. INCI: Mangifera Indica Seed Butter.

I've used this in lip balms (or AS a lip balm for personal use) and in lotions. It is just a great butter, less greasy and better absorbing than shea butter. It has a wonderful scent that almost doesn't register. As a lip balm, it wears off faster than one actually formulated for that purpose and has a low melting point so I do use it in a lip balm formula. This butter is one I plan to use in my "winter formula" lotion--great glide, great moisturizing properties and easy to blend in.

This mango butter is really amazing. I have never had a problem with it being grainy. It melts very nicely, and is so luxurious to use in soaps and body products. It has no scent and is very conveniently sized (the chunks are not too large or small).
    Lovely!

I used this butter for my baby's skin. I am thankful and grateful for Camden-Grey because I know that the products are dependable and is the best. I am very confident to have used it for my baby's sensitive skin. I used this with other oils and it helped resolve her rashes and eczema in just one application I saw the difference right away. Loving it to the moon and back!

This was the first I've ever brought mango butter. It's very soft, with no scent and squishy like play doh in a way but not bad. The thing is, it's crumbly in texture so it takes time smoothing into skin which is why it's key to melt it down and let it cool to get a smoother texture. But it's very creamy and great for moisture
Excellent base for making skin creams

This high quality mango butter has no detectable scent and soaks into skin quickly, I use it as a base to make pain cream and as a healing cream for the varicose veins on my face-it mixes well with essential and carrier oils and whips up into a smooth cream. It does not clog pores and I found that it, along with essential oils, has helped clear up those awful bumps on the back of my arms. It's hard to decide if I like this or Shea butter better!
    Gotta have mango!

This is my first time using mango butter and surely not the last. Great body butters came out.

Camden Grey's Mango Butter has a lovely texture which makes it easy to use. I like that very little hat is needed to be able to work with this butter which means regular heat damage can be avoided. I once ordered from another vendor to try it out but did not like the texture quality; I find butter textures can make or break your product, so its important to order from a good source such as CG. I have been ordering mango butter with CG since 2008, and keep coming back for more! :)
    Lovely texture to this butter!

This is a wonderful butter. It is soft and creamy, and combines so well with Shea Butter or other liquid oils. I make a cream with it that is soft and smooth and feels very rich. It is a softer butter than shea or cocoa, so you'll want to keep that in mind. It melts down smooth (not grainy) and I will definitely re-order again. I was slightly disappointed that it didn't smell strongly of mango or tropical scent, but that is because I had never tried Mango butter before. If you are new to it, the scent isn't that strong (if you are looking for a strong scent, look at the orange butter), but the texture and creaminess are the best I've found so far!
    Love this Mango Butter

This is the best Mango butter I have used, and I have ordered several from different suppliers, it is smooth and creamy and for me it works wonderfully, will definitely order again.

    HOW PRODUCTS ARE DISPENSED...

    BOTTLING/PACKAGING:

Essential oils: Are sold only in the quantities/net weights listed on our website. These oils are shipped to us by the distiller or manufacturer in industry-standard metal or plastic containers and that’s how we ship them to you.

Carrier oils and most other liquids are dispensed in individual HDPE plastic pails or containers with some type of handle, each container holds the purchased net weight of liquid.

Soft butters such as Horsetail and Almond are dispensed in plastic HDPE pails w/metal handles; those butters may remain inside the pails indefinitely when properly stored. Hard butters such as Cocoa are dispensed factory-wrapped in plastic and placed inside a box. Castile Gel is dispensed in a self-contained cubitainer with pouring spout.

NOTE: While the packaging methods mentioned above are generalized, we reserve the right to dispense and ship in any available container. If a customer at any time feels more comfortable transferring an essential or carrier oil to glass, this should be done.

Raw materials/ingredients are sold and dispensed by weight. Many customers ask how many ounces are in a pound, there are 16 ounces in one pound. These are not fluid ounces, they are ounces by weight.

HOW TO STORE: EOs, FOs and BUTTERS should be stored in tightly-sealed containers away from direct light and heat. Some EOs and FOs could be highly flammable, keep away from open flames and from varnished or wood surfaces. Keep all liquids and powders you purchase from Camden-Grey tightly capped and away from the reach of children, the elderly or infirm and pets. Refrigerating butters could adversely affect the consistency of a butter, please join our Forum if you need to learn how to handle, work with and store products.
