Lilac fragrance oil, phthalate free, cosmetic grade, premium grade.  Sold by weight.

    From our soap tester:

Very sweet and clean!! This would blend so well with vanilla or with scents like jasmine and rose. Reminds one of the heavenly scent in a Crabtree & Evelyn store. So many lilacs fade in CP soap, but not this one.

Our tester found that in CP and HP, it mildly discoloured ....just a light shade of ivory/bone. In M&P, turned a bit yellowish (very mild), but left it crystal clear.

This oil has not been tested by us in candles, please conduct your own testing.  Flash point: >200F.  Ethyl Vanillin: 0.00%.  Vanillin: 0.00%.

    Spring lilacs!
    ★★★★★ ★★★★★

When I opened the oil, it smelled almost like the lilacs that grow in our yard in spring. After trying some in melt and pour soap, it smelled just perfect!
    Don't use too much!

A few drops scented a gallon and a half of liquid soap (which holds scents much better than cold process soap). This was a nice scent for the laundry soap I made--clean, outdoorsy, fresh. It's sort of a cross between the gardenia and plumeria scents. Maybe a hint of ivory soap, but then veers off into its own blend. This 2 oz bottle will last me a long time. (I don't think it smells anything like my lilacs.)
A little dab will do you

I use this in several of my perfume blends. It's very strong and long lasting. A little dab will go a long way, which is great. It's very true to the name, and blends great with other floral scents and some fruits also.

As a little girl, Lilac was the first flower I remember noticing and loving it's aroma! I haven't smelled it in years, having moved south from New England. This blend captures that first loved flower fragrance! I love it in a bath with some Vanilla. Lovely!
    This FO is a winner!

Two years ago I made a batch of CP soap and scented it with this lovely lilac fragrance oil. I still have a couple bars left, and they smell just as great as they did a month after I made this batch.
    Wonderful Fragrance!

This has quickly become my new favorite fragrance. Not overpowering, and quite true to the natural blooms, it brings back memories of late spring scents wafting through the kitchen window from the garden. A pure delight!

I used this in CP milk soap - no problems with seizing, darkened it just a titch to a lovely soft tan. I used 3/4 of this lilac with about 1/4 of a honeysuckle fragrance oil I had on hand. The scent is soft and rich, I am very pleased, although I wouldn't mind just a bit stronger lilac scent. The scent in the finished product is very true to what you smell in the bottle.

    HOW PRODUCTS ARE DISPENSED...

    BOTTLING/PACKAGING:

Essential oils: Are sold only in the quantities/net weights listed on our website. These oils are shipped to us by the distiller or manufacturer in industry-standard metal or plastic containers and that’s how we ship them to you.

Carrier oils and most other liquids are dispensed in individual HDPE plastic pails or containers with some type of handle, each container holds the purchased net weight of liquid.

Soft butters such as Horsetail and Almond are dispensed in plastic HDPE pails w/metal handles; those butters may remain inside the pails indefinitely when properly stored. Hard butters such as Cocoa are dispensed factory-wrapped in plastic and placed inside a box. Castile Gel is dispensed in a self-contained cubitainer with pouring spout.

NOTE: While the packaging methods mentioned above are generalized, we reserve the right to dispense and ship in any available container. If a customer at any time feels more comfortable transferring an essential or carrier oil to glass, this should be done.

Raw materials/ingredients are sold and dispensed by weight. Many customers ask how many ounces are in a pound, there are 16 ounces in one pound. These are not fluid ounces, they are ounces by weight.

HOW TO STORE: EOs, FOs and BUTTERS should be stored in tightly-sealed containers away from direct light and heat. Some EOs and FOs could be highly flammable, keep away from open flames and from varnished or wood surfaces. Keep all liquids and powders you purchase from Camden-Grey tightly capped and away from the reach of children, the elderly or infirm and pets. Refrigerating butters could adversely affect the consistency of a butter, please join our Forum if you need to learn how to handle, work with and store products.
