Almond Butter is derived from sweet Almonds (Prunus Amygdalus Dulcis), specifically from the Mediterranean area and is obtained by cold pressing of selected fruit seeds followed by a full refining process. The natural oil contains essential fatty acids, but also contains unsaponifiables as natural waxes/paraffins, which are collected during the refining and deodorization process.
The butter is created by blending the Almond oil with hydrogenated vegetable oils to produce a soft, light colored butter with mild odor and excellent melting properties suitable for skin care. In cosmetic preparations, the feel and behavior of Almond Butter is somewhat similar to that of shea butter (Butyrospermum parkii). Almond Butter exhibits excellent spreadability on the skin, making it ideal as a massage butter or carrier for treatment products. It adds moisturizing attributes to creams and lotions and bar soaps.
May be used in cosmetics, toiletries, soaps, massage oils & balms, hair care and sun care preparations.

I have been using the almond butter on my hair and skin and I found it to be fantastic. It felt good on my skin and it isn't too oily. It made my hair feel like butter. I would recommend this product to anyone with natural hair.

I keep the almond butter in my purse for pink soft lips all day. I also use it as a hand moisturizer. Makes my lips pink and soft all day long!

I melted and mixed this softer butter with infused oils for my face cream. The preparation has stayed emulsified for months without help from any additive. I haven't had this experience with harder butters for body creams.
I use this cream especially after a skin peel for less scabbing and for soothing the skin. My cream turned out silky, creamy, pretty, enjoyable. Thumbs way up.
I'm making breast massage with this butter when I run out of the stuff I made with Illipe butter.

This butter was one of the first butters I ordered from Camden, along with mango and cupuaca. I liked this butter the most out of the three though. A very smooth butter similiar in firmness to blistex to me. I use it on my lips and on my toddler's eczema with stunning results. I'll order more of this butter. Almond butter was one of the first products that I bought from Camden Grey. This is a great product. The consistency is very smooth. I use this product to seal my ends and keep moisture in my hair. I also use almond butters in my home made conditioners. This is staple product for me.

I love this butter. I use it in a few of my lip balm recipes, and it makes the smoothest and creamiest lip balms, yet. It is more of a creamy butter than hard, but with some candelilla wax and calendula oil, you have a wonderful balm. Thank you!

We publish on our website those documents for most of our products, some products don't provide either because the product doesn't require it. In this same section where you're at now, please look to the tab to the left titled Documents, click on it and that's where you'll find either document for the product you seek. BULK ITEMS: When a customer adds a bulk item to the cart, the customer’s immediately shown on the screen how many number of days should be allowed for the bulk product to arrive at our location with the minimum being 12 business days counting from the business day after the customer placed the order on our site.

HOW PRODUCTS ARE DISPENSED...
BOTTLING/PACKAGING:
Essential oils: Are sold only in the quantities/net weights listed on our website. These oils are shipped to us by the distiller or manufacturer in industry-standard metal or plastic containers and that’s how we ship them to you.
Carrier oils and most other liquids are dispensed in individual HDPE plastic pails or containers with some type of handle, each container holds the purchased net weight of liquid.
Soft butters such as Horsetail and Almond are dispensed in plastic HDPE pails w/metal handles; those butters may remain inside the pails indefinitely when properly stored. Hard butters such as Cocoa are dispensed factory-wrapped in plastic and placed inside a box. Castile Gel is dispensed in a self-contained cubitainer with pouring spout.
NOTE: While the packaging methods mentioned above are generalized, we reserve the right to dispense and ship in any available container. If a customer at any time feels more comfortable transferring an essential or carrier oil to glass, this should be done.
Raw materials/ingredients are sold and dispensed by weight. Many customers ask how many ounces are in a pound, there are 16 ounces in one pound. These are not fluid ounces, they are ounces by weight.
HOW TO STORE: EOs, FOs and BUTTERS should be stored in tightly-sealed containers away from direct light and heat. Some EOs and FOs could be highly flammable, keep away from open flames and from varnished or wood surfaces. Keep all liquids and powders you purchase from Camden-Grey tightly capped and away from the reach of children, the elderly or infirm and pets.
