Chocolate fragrance oil, phthalate free, cosmetic grade, premium grade.  Sold by weight.

    From our tester:

CP & HP: Soap turned almost the colour of real milk chocolate. In M&P, dark apple juice colour, but still clear.

MP:  VERY nice, strong, genuine, lusty and rich chocolate scent. You could wave this under someone's nose, and they would think it was real. (Note: discolors soap heavily but worth it!)

    Smells Like Chocolate Cake
    ★★★★★ ★★★★★
Anna Tamaoka (Woburn, MA, US) | November 20th, 2014
After reading the reviews, I noticed that a lot of users said the fragrance smelled like chocolate cake. I was looking for a more "chocolate truffle" smell that one would get from a chocolate shop, but I figured I'd give this a try anyway to see if it would fit my needs. Unfortunately, what everyone was saying was correct; it did smell exactly like chocolate frosting. I used 6mL in 3000gm of cold process soap. I didn't want to use too much in case the scent was overpowering. At first it made my workspace smell like brownies or cake, but after I let my finished soap sit for a while it lost its scent. I'm still afraid to use it, though, because it wasn't the kind of chocolate I was looking for. However, like all of Camden-Grey's materials, still a great product.

It's so hard finding a good, genuine chocolate scent, but this does the trick! I purchased it & used it to make hair butter. Now, everywhere I go, I & others around me smell chocolate! I get compliments! And, the smell lasts! It's best to start light, then add more if needed. If you add too much, it gives off more of a "buttered popcorn" smell. It took a couple trial & error runs to for me to get my perfect smell, but that could also be because I am a novice! Perfect product!
    Very true to it's name

This oil really does smell exactly like chocolate. It reminds me of chocolate cupcakes. I make a chocolate mint perfume out of it that works nicely for a winter type scent. It's very warm and comforting.

Anyone who picks up and smells my rich chocolate soap never puts it back down again. Soaps made with this great true chocolate fragrance sell like - well, chocolate! Slightly nutty, creamy satisfying, I've made it into a solid perfume too which is a hit with the younger ladies!

I just made a batch of Cold Process Oven Process CPOP soap using this fragrance. It worked well! I used 0.75oz per pound of oils and the smell is really just wonderful. I used Hershey's cocoa powder to color the soap and it looks and smells like Bars of Chocolate. A+ I added this FO to my cart as a "test run" and I'm sure it will become a regular purchase. It smells very sweet, like a sweet chocolate cake or frosting.

This is a very nice, mild almost milk-chocolate smelling fragrance oil. Not overpowering. Definitely reminds me of a fresh baked cake or brownies. Very delicious!

Very much like a chocolate bar. Not the cake, or mocha chocolate scent you smell when eating goodies. I think it did well in my cp soaping, but next batch I would like to mix with maybe Cinnamon Hazelnut Coffee, or might try the new Cinnamon Roll.
    Excellent Chocolate Fragrance Oil

This chocolate fragrance oil smells like the real thing! Every time I use it my house smells delicious, just like I pulled a cake out of the oven! Great performance in cold-process, bath salts, scrubs, & bath bombs.

    HOW PRODUCTS ARE DISPENSED...

    BOTTLING/PACKAGING:

Essential oils: Are sold only in the quantities/net weights listed on our website. These oils are shipped to us by the distiller or manufacturer in industry-standard metal or plastic containers and that’s how we ship them to you.

Carrier oils and most other liquids are dispensed in individual HDPE plastic pails or containers with some type of handle, each container holds the purchased net weight of liquid.

Soft butters such as Horsetail and Almond are dispensed in plastic HDPE pails w/metal handles; those butters may remain inside the pails indefinitely when properly stored. Hard butters such as Cocoa are dispensed factory-wrapped in plastic and placed inside a box. Castile Gel is dispensed in a self-contained cubitainer with pouring spout.

NOTE: While the packaging methods mentioned above are generalized, we reserve the right to dispense and ship in any available container. If a customer at any time feels more comfortable transferring an essential or carrier oil to glass, this should be done.

Raw materials/ingredients are sold and dispensed by weight. Many customers ask how many ounces are in a pound, there are 16 ounces in one pound. These are not fluid ounces, they are ounces by weight.

HOW TO STORE: EOs, FOs and BUTTERS should be stored in tightly-sealed containers away from direct light and heat. Some EOs and FOs could be highly flammable, keep away from open flames and from varnished or wood surfaces. Keep all liquids and powders you purchase from Camden-Grey tightly capped and away from the reach of children, the elderly or infirm and pets. Refrigerating butters could adversely affect the consistency of a butter, please join our Forum if you need to learn how to handle, work with and store products.
