Warm, woody, spicy, incense-like aroma. Frankincense has been used since ancient times in religious ceremonies and is still used in many churches today.
Some of its properties are antiseptic, astringent, cicatrisant, diuretic, digestive, uterine and sedative. Slows down breathing and produces feelings of calm. Ideally used for meditation. Like most other oils extracted from resins, frankincense is effective for respiratory catarrhal discharge and respiratory congestion. Used in inhalations, it may be helpful for asthma sufferers as it eases shortness of breath. Its astringent properties may relieve uterine hemorrhages, as well as heavy periods and generally acts as a tonic to the uterus. Its cytophylactic properties make it an ideal oil for mature, wrinkled skin in need of a lift.
Blends well with basil, geranium, lavender, orange, neroli, patchouli and sandalwood. Flash point: 80 deg. F. (Cannot ship via air or ocean w/o appropriate documentation, cannot ship via postal air services.)

This was the Frank. I've been looking for! I've order many, looking for a specific scent.. and almost everyone failed to meet my expectations..but NOT THIS one.. this is it. Any tips on making the scent stay on me? It may be something to do with me or my make-up, seems to fade on me, yet others can smell "oils" on me.

I made a wonderful frankincense and myrrh soap last Christmas, using this essential oil. It smells so pleasant and is a great scent for men. Frankincense is cited by many as one of the top five most useful essential oils, and I plan to use it more in my soapmaking. I'm eager to try other blends with Frankincense.

This oil was very unexpected. Rather than having the smoky, warm scent of burning frankincense, it was very "green" and balsamic. If you didnt know what it was, it could almost pass for an evergreen oil. Nonetheless, it has the potential to make interesting blends.

i love this i put it on out of the bottle and it just smells so good, i also use it in my suntan oil and it makes it not so fruity

This is a wonderful frankincense that gives that sacred, safe and spiritual emotional effet just by smelling it. Besides the tremendous physical benefits I have used this frankincense for, the emotional ones are exceptional - I love Camden Grey's Indian Frankincense!

We publish on our website those documents for most of our products, some products don't provide either because the product doesn't require it. In this same section where you're at now, please look to the tab to the left titled Documents, click on it and that's where you'll find either document for the product you seek. BULK ITEMS: When a customer adds a bulk item to the cart, the customer’s immediately shown on the screen how many number of days should be allowed for the bulk product to arrive at our location with the minimum being 12 business days counting from the business day after the customer placed the order on our site.

HOW PRODUCTS ARE DISPENSED...
BOTTLING/PACKAGING:
Essential oils: Are sold only in the quantities/net weights listed on our website. These oils are shipped to us by the distiller or manufacturer in industry-standard metal or plastic containers and that’s how we ship them to you.
Carrier oils and most other liquids are dispensed in individual HDPE plastic pails or containers with some type of handle, each container holds the purchased net weight of liquid.
Soft butters such as Horsetail and Almond are dispensed in plastic HDPE pails w/metal handles; those butters may remain inside the pails indefinitely when properly stored. Hard butters such as Cocoa are dispensed factory-wrapped in plastic and placed inside a box. Castile Gel is dispensed in a self-contained cubitainer with pouring spout.
NOTE: While the packaging methods mentioned above are generalized, we reserve the right to dispense and ship in any available container. If a customer at any time feels more comfortable transferring an essential or carrier oil to glass, this should be done.
Raw materials/ingredients are sold and dispensed by weight. Many customers ask how many ounces are in a pound, there are 16 ounces in one pound. These are not fluid ounces, they are ounces by weight.
HOW TO STORE: EOs, FOs and BUTTERS should be stored in tightly-sealed containers away from direct light and heat. Some EOs and FOs could be highly flammable, keep away from open flames and from varnished or wood surfaces. Keep all liquids and powders you purchase from Camden-Grey tightly capped and away from the reach of children, the elderly or infirm and pets.
