Lavandin grosso is a hybrid developed by crossing true lavender with spike lavender which grows wild in areas where true lavender is cultivated or grows wild. The essential oil's aroma is powdery, sweet, floral and herbaceous. Its use is the same as for Lavender and is effective as an inhalation for colds, sinusitis and other respiratory problems. May clear headaches, good for muscular stiffness. Blends well with bergamot, clary sage and lemon. Flash point: 151F.

This worked SOOOOO well in hot process soap mixed with some of the 40/42 lavender. My customers noticed the top sweet notes right away. I could use it alone, but had 40/42 on hand so I mixed about half and half. I may only use the lavandin in the future because it has such a pretty floral scent. I like this scent better than the 40/42 right out of the bottle. In shampoo and lotion, the sweet scent really shines through. The odor lingers longer than regular lavender. LOVE it!

This has a great mellow, sweet, powdery freshness. Compared to other lavandin oils I've tried, I find this sweeter, less herbal-resinous, and more similar to lavender absolute. Drydown is green and coumarinic-powdery. Excellent quality and price, as usual from Camden-Grey.

This product has an incredible sweet floral lavender smell at an affordable price! Holds well in CP soap. I actually prefer this over "regular" lavender because it has a sweeter and even handed undertone.

I have been a customer for a very long time, and since I tried the other lavenders and they were so great, I thought I would try this one. Well it is a good oil to mix with other essential oils, but I didn't care for the smell as a stand alone oil.

Although this oil is fine enough to use all by itself I see great potential for lavender blends of all types. It's mild and sweeter smelling than either the French or Bulgarian varieties, which have an herbaceous quality to them. If you're looking for a floral lavender, then consider this one. I have this one earmarked for my peppermint-lavender CP soap which is my favorite.

I was interested to find that Lavandin is a hybrid Lavender variety. This is the ultimate Lavender scent, but sweeter and less green. I use it blended with Camden-Grey Lavender 40/42 for the perfect balance of sweetness and green-ness in my CP soaps. It is a customer favorite.

This is probably my second favorite favorite oil out of all the lavender type oils, it is still a great oil though! Love, and the smell is beautiful..so relaxing! Definately help me to extend the oil with my other lavenders a lot longer as well, for the price Camden have. Gives basically the same amount of great benefits, and you just can't go wrong. Sooo versatile, and one of the safest oils to use. This is one of those must have essential to add to your collection. Will continue to buy this oil. Thanks Camden.

This lavandin grosso EO is very strong. I use this oil in my soy candles and light them when my dog is stressed out and he mellows out and calms down. Also this is a great price for this oil.

I love Lavandin from Camden Grey! I have been getting from several years and it is the best quality and the best price.
I use it in soaps CP, creams mixed with Lavender very often and it is wonderful.
It last really a while. I have had bottles for a few years and still very potent. Camden is the best quality of essential oils!

We publish on our website those documents for most of our products, some products don't provide either because the product doesn't require it. In this same section where you're at now, please look to the tab to the left titled Documents, click on it and that's where you'll find either document for the product you seek. BULK ITEMS: When a customer adds a bulk item to the cart, the customer’s immediately shown on the screen how many number of days should be allowed for the bulk product to arrive at our location with the minimum being 12 business days counting from the business day after the customer placed the order on our site.

HOW PRODUCTS ARE DISPENSED...
BOTTLING/PACKAGING:
Essential oils: Are sold only in the quantities/net weights listed on our website. These oils are shipped to us by the distiller or manufacturer in industry-standard metal or plastic containers and that’s how we ship them to you.
Carrier oils and most other liquids are dispensed in individual HDPE plastic pails or containers with some type of handle, each container holds the purchased net weight of liquid.
Soft butters such as Horsetail and Almond are dispensed in plastic HDPE pails w/metal handles; those butters may remain inside the pails indefinitely when properly stored. Hard butters such as Cocoa are dispensed factory-wrapped in plastic and placed inside a box. Castile Gel is dispensed in a self-contained cubitainer with pouring spout.
NOTE: While the packaging methods mentioned above are generalized, we reserve the right to dispense and ship in any available container. If a customer at any time feels more comfortable transferring an essential or carrier oil to glass, this should be done.
Raw materials/ingredients are sold and dispensed by weight. Many customers ask how many ounces are in a pound, there are 16 ounces in one pound. These are not fluid ounces, they are ounces by weight.
HOW TO STORE: EOs, FOs and BUTTERS should be stored in tightly-sealed containers away from direct light and heat. Some EOs and FOs could be highly flammable, keep away from open flames and from varnished or wood surfaces. Keep all liquids and powders you purchase from Camden-Grey tightly capped and away from the reach of children, the elderly or infirm and pets.
