Our Lavender Butter for cosmetic use is actually an extract of whole Lavandula angustifolia (Lavender) flowers using a Sweet Almond oil/Hydrogenated vegetable oil mix which produces a smooth, velvety butter at room temperature with a very light aroma of Lavender. It is the faintest of aromas, it's not a strong Lavender scent, but the benefits of the Lavender extract are in full force. This easy to use butter base will add amazing skin feel to any emulsion or anyhdrous formulation. It is completely oil miscible and contains no preservatives or coloring agents.
Suggested uses: Help your creams, lotions, body and lip balms, and bar soaps calm stress by using Lavender Butter from 3% to 100% in your formulations. SAP value: 175-200. INCI: Prunus Amygdalus Dulcis (Almond) Oil, Lavandula angustifolia extract (and) hydrogenated non-gmo soybean oil.

This is such a lovely product! I use it strait up as it comes! The fragrance is just beautiful, like fresh cut lavender. Much different than lavender essential oil. Feels very thick and smooth on skin

I love this butter even more than I thought, will always have to have a stash on hand. I've only been using it as is and it is super smooth, melts quickly on skin, has a wonderful light lavender scent that you can add to with your own essential oil. The color is a delicate light purple (lavender, lol), very pretty. I've used it as lip gloss, and on my cuticles and it has plumped them up. It's great on any skin conditions, and am planning on putting it in my lip balm. I'm a big user of lavender E.O. with all it's healing properties including the 'go to' for burns, so I'm sure this would also be great for any burns incurred, taking away pain and inflammation, great buy for an amazing product.

I ordered this so that I could start making my own whipped butters due to a medical condition that dries me out. I didn't want to spend a lot of money on products in the store, especially knowing that most mass produced products contain harmful ingredients. I made what I call my own "Love Butter" and used lavender butter in my blend. My Love Butter came out much better than I expected for my first time. I gave some to my 5-year old grandson who suffers from eczema & extreme rash and it cleared him up in just 2 days. He told me that his friends at school even said that his legs were no longer ashy. I will no longer buy any lotions again because none of them can be as moisturizing and harm-free as making my own.

I ordered a small amount the 1st time just to see what this butter was about. I use it on my hair but also on my cuticles. I love it and so do my clients! It is so-o-o silky and moisturizing.

I use this butter after shampoo/conditioning my hair, as a leave-in and styler. My hair loves it! I locks in moisture and leaves coarse hair incredibly soft. I added some of Camden's French Lavender oil to it for more fragrance. If you haven't tried this yet, give it a go, you won't regret it.

We publish on our website those documents for most of our products, some products don't provide either because the product doesn't require it. In this same section where you're at now, please look to the tab to the left titled Documents, click on it and that's where you'll find either document for the product you seek. BULK ITEMS: When a customer adds a bulk item to the cart, the customer’s immediately shown on the screen how many number of days should be allowed for the bulk product to arrive at our location with the minimum being 12 business days counting from the business day after the customer placed the order on our site.

HOW PRODUCTS ARE DISPENSED...
BOTTLING/PACKAGING:
Essential oils: Are sold only in the quantities/net weights listed on our website. These oils are shipped to us by the distiller or manufacturer in industry-standard metal or plastic containers and that’s how we ship them to you.
Carrier oils and most other liquids are dispensed in individual HDPE plastic pails or containers with some type of handle, each container holds the purchased net weight of liquid.
Soft butters such as Horsetail and Almond are dispensed in plastic HDPE pails w/metal handles; those butters may remain inside the pails indefinitely when properly stored. Hard butters such as Cocoa are dispensed factory-wrapped in plastic and placed inside a box. Castile Gel is dispensed in a self-contained cubitainer with pouring spout.
NOTE: While the packaging methods mentioned above are generalized, we reserve the right to dispense and ship in any available container. If a customer at any time feels more comfortable transferring an essential or carrier oil to glass, this should be done.
Raw materials/ingredients are sold and dispensed by weight. Many customers ask how many ounces are in a pound, there are 16 ounces in one pound. These are not fluid ounces, they are ounces by weight.
HOW TO STORE: EOs, FOs and BUTTERS should be stored in tightly-sealed containers away from direct light and heat. Some EOs and FOs could be highly flammable, keep away from open flames and from varnished or wood surfaces. Keep all liquids and powders you purchase from Camden-Grey tightly capped and away from the reach of children, the elderly or infirm and pets.
