    Botanical Name: Citrus aurantium L.

    Plant Part: Flower

    Country of Origin: Egypt

    Method of Extraction: Steam Distillation

There are two types of orange trees, the sweet orange and the bitter orange. Oil from orange blossoms is known as neroli oil and is extracted from the white blossoms of the bitter orange. A powerful, but delicate bitter-sweet floral fragrance. Neroli essential oil is antidepressant, antiseptic, antispasmodic, deodorant, digestive, stimulant and sedative. Very relaxing, rather hypnotic, relieves chronic anxiety, depression and stress. Good in cases of insomnia, best used in the bath before bedtime. In spite of this, it is also joyous and uplifting. Due to its antispasmodic action Neroli is well known for its ability to relieve muscle spasm of the smooth muscles, especially that of the small intestines.

Neroli EO is extremely useful for chronic diarrhea, especially when this arises from nervous tension, use in a light massage. This oil is suitable for all skin types since it does not irritate and is also useful for the treatment of broken capillaries under the skin's surface. Blends well with bergamot, geranium, jasmine, lavender, lime, rose and ylang ylang. Flash point: 158 F.

Summer and sunshine in a bottle.

This oil is summer and sunshine in a bottle. Its slightly bitter and acidic/citrus odour makes it so refreshing. It kind of smells like orange blossom water but it has a more intense character. It still remains watery and light though. In its heart, there are beautiful floral notes, and I can also feel a bit of greenness. The global effect is brisk and clean smiling oil. It’s perfect to refresh you in hot summer days.

I haven't tried any other neroli oil from elsewhere, but I can tell that this is high quality. The scent is just amazing. Floral and fresh, but thick and rich too. You only need a drop or two for any given product or situation. And indeed, more than that could overwhelm any blend you are trying to create. This neroli absolutely does wonders for mood, as other reviewers have said. It is nearly impossible not to feel a lift after a deep breath of it!
    Worth it! Oriental and beautiful.

This oil cost me a pretty penny, but this pretty scent was worth it! I had never smelled neroli before I received this oil, and I really wish that I had trusted myself and purchased a larger size. I am excited to find uses for this oil.
    Great smell!

This Neroli is very good quality and smells better than the other ones I have smelled in local health food store. Mixes very well with other oils!!! Also I have looked many places and I haven't come across a cheaper price for it! Winner all around!

Mmmmm... I absolutely fell in love with this oil! Its kind of expensive for this purpose but I like to put a few drops of it on a small scrap cloth with a couple other EO's then I throw it in the dryer with my clothes (after they're dried, and use a no heat setting) so that it gives all my laundry an absolutely heavenly smell :-)
    WOW!

This is now my most expensive EO per ml and it was worth it! I wanted a few of the more rare EO's and Camden-Grey offers them in small enough quantities that I could afford to sample them. I am THRILLED!!!! I created a luxurious skin care line (toner, spot treatment, eye serum, facial serum) with neroli, rose, and frankincense EO's plus various carrier oils. My skin feels FABULOUS! What I didn't expect was the mood-enhancing properties. I know EO's have them, of course, but I was looking at very specific skin benefits when I created my line so it was a surprise, a very pleasant surprise. All three of the EOs I used are very strong smelling. (I didn't use all 3 in every single item. They layer rather nicely, IMO.) Dilution is necessary.
    Extremely calming and very potent

I bought a tiny tiny bottle of this to try it. I have smelled other neroli EOs and this one is definitely of excellent quality. The price is high, but it is a fair price for this product. I was amazed at how relaxing it really is. So far I have used a few scant drops in a facial toner and even that went a long way! It is a very potent oil and you have to be careful not to use too much. Even though its scent is delicate it has held its own in my toner alongside the geranium and lavender and is extremely potent. The scent is very sweet, extremely floral (although not heavy just thick like nectar) and only very slightly bitter. I keep my bottle at work and inhale it when I get stressed or need to avoid focusing on problems. It lifts the spirits and is very beneficial to the skin but is most valuable to me for lifting my moods. I have even let co-workers take a whiff and even my tough guy friend couldn't deny it lifted the mood a bit.
    Strong & Exotic

I tried a small bottle of this to combine with other EO's in a soap recipe. The Neroli is very strong but it added a fantastic exotic kick to the soap. It is pricey, but not much is needed. So is it worth it....in my opinion, yes.

    HOW PRODUCTS ARE DISPENSED...

    BOTTLING/PACKAGING:

Essential oils: Are sold only in the quantities/net weights listed on our website. These oils are shipped to us by the distiller or manufacturer in industry-standard metal or plastic containers and that’s how we ship them to you.

Carrier oils and most other liquids are dispensed in individual HDPE plastic pails or containers with some type of handle, each container holds the purchased net weight of liquid.

Soft butters such as Horsetail and Almond are dispensed in plastic HDPE pails w/metal handles; those butters may remain inside the pails indefinitely when properly stored. Hard butters such as Cocoa are dispensed factory-wrapped in plastic and placed inside a box. Castile Gel is dispensed in a self-contained cubitainer with pouring spout.

NOTE: While the packaging methods mentioned above are generalized, we reserve the right to dispense and ship in any available container. If a customer at any time feels more comfortable transferring an essential or carrier oil to glass, this should be done.

Raw materials/ingredients are sold and dispensed by weight. Many customers ask how many ounces are in a pound, there are 16 ounces in one pound. These are not fluid ounces, they are ounces by weight.

HOW TO STORE: EOs, FOs and BUTTERS should be stored in tightly-sealed containers away from direct light and heat. Some EOs and FOs could be highly flammable, keep away from open flames and from varnished or wood surfaces. Keep all liquids and powders you purchase from Camden-Grey tightly capped and away from the reach of children, the elderly or infirm and pets. Refrigerating butters could adversely affect the consistency of a butter, please join our Forum if you need to learn how to handle, work with and store products.
