This clay has a beautiful dusty rose color and is used in face masks, soaps and colored cosmetics. It derives its color from the iron oxide content in this clay and is also known as pink kaolin. Rose clay or pink clay is a mild clay which will gently cleanse and exfoliate the skin. A facial mask may be used once a week to draw out toxins and impurities from the skin. Wash your hands thoroughtly, in a clean container (not aluminum) mix a small amount of rose clay with distilled water and apply to clean skin, leave on 15 to 20 minutes, rinse off with warm water and pat skin gently until dry.

Rose clay is gentle enough even for the driest skins. It's very mild. Other additives you may add to the mask instead of water are plain yogurt, honey, liquid vegetable glycerine, whipped egg whites or mayonnaise. Rose clay may be used to naturally color soaps. Depending on how much you add to your soap recipe, you can obtain the palest of pinks to the darkest of pinks.

    Rose Clay: Origin - USA; CAS # - 1332-58-7; INCI - Kaolin; Mesh - 325.

Rose clay has to be one of my favorite clays, which is hard to decide because I love using clays in my formulas! This cool pink clay is very smooth and gives me fantastic reviews as its featured in both my oregon lavender soap, cosmetics, honey-clay face mask and a sensitive skin safe bright pink sugar scrub my customers can't get enough of.
    Absolutely wonderful product!

Rose clay is a very healing clay and good for sensitive skin. This has a beautiful pink color, I have already added it to a soap that I made to add a pretty color and it turned out beautiful.

I used this in a cp wine soap. I like the way you can control the color by how much you add. The soap lathers well and feels great!

I absolutely love this product and use it on a very regular basis. I made some soap with this and CG's rose petal fo and it is just beautiful, the lather is abolutely amazing. This is also a wonderful addition to any face mask and I use it every single week. I even used this clay to lighten some blush that was a tad too dark for my skin and it worked perfectly. Thank you for yet another great product, CG.

This clay is a very useful natural color. It can be made into so many shades of pink from a very light shades to deep pink almost a maroon color according to how much you use. It also gives the soap a very nice texture which is a bonus.
    Great natural soap colorant

this clay wets down to a striking dark pink color, and dries to a soft, blush shade, which makes it particularly fun when mixed with rose water, and painted on as a facial mask at slumber parties. it's by far the gentlest, best tolerated clay mask I've discovered, and has a wonderful texture to it. I've also stirred a teaspoon of it into my mother's loose powder, and it's just the right hint of color to brighten up her winter-pale skin !
Gives great texture to cp soap!

I bought this originally just to color a particular soap or two - I had no idea it would give the soap such a smooth texture! Makes for a great facial bar, as it is very mild and really not drying in my opinion! And the natural color is very soft and pretty!

    HOW PRODUCTS ARE DISPENSED...

    BOTTLING/PACKAGING:

Essential oils: Are sold only in the quantities/net weights listed on our website. These oils are shipped to us by the distiller or manufacturer in industry-standard metal or plastic containers and that’s how we ship them to you.

Carrier oils and most other liquids are dispensed in individual HDPE plastic pails or containers with some type of handle, each container holds the purchased net weight of liquid.

Soft butters such as Horsetail and Almond are dispensed in plastic HDPE pails w/metal handles; those butters may remain inside the pails indefinitely when properly stored. Hard butters such as Cocoa are dispensed factory-wrapped in plastic and placed inside a box. Castile Gel is dispensed in a self-contained cubitainer with pouring spout.

NOTE: While the packaging methods mentioned above are generalized, we reserve the right to dispense and ship in any available container. If a customer at any time feels more comfortable transferring an essential or carrier oil to glass, this should be done.

Raw materials/ingredients are sold and dispensed by weight. Many customers ask how many ounces are in a pound, there are 16 ounces in one pound. These are not fluid ounces, they are ounces by weight.

HOW TO STORE: EOs, FOs and BUTTERS should be stored in tightly-sealed containers away from direct light and heat. Some EOs and FOs could be highly flammable, keep away from open flames and from varnished or wood surfaces. Keep all liquids and powders you purchase from Camden-Grey tightly capped and away from the reach of children, the elderly or infirm and pets. Refrigerating butters could adversely affect the consistency of a butter, please join our Forum if you need to learn how to handle, work with and store products.
